This Big 4’s Edinburgh office is currently offering a manager the opportunity to progress their career in the Financial Services corporate tax practice.
The team based in the city centre work with a diverse portfolio of major financial service institutions globally.
Client responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service
- Assist in winning work by proactively working existing client relationships and contribute to winning new clients.
- Manage the successful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical / business driven approach taken
- Delegate effectively and be involved in the development of junior staff in the UK and offshore team
Your people responsibilities
- Team player; ability to integrate with new teams quickly
- Outgoing with good relationship skills and the ability to deliver quality output
Experience
- Relevant corporate tax compliance experience - at least 3 years in a compliance role
- FS industry and product knowledge preferred but not essential
- Commercial attitude with the desire to consider the wider business implications of tax
- A good understanding of accounts - UK GAAP and IFRS experience preferred
